As we make the final turn onto the home stretch most people may think we are winding down the racing season at Eureka Downs. On the contrary we are gearing up for the grand finale! July 4th might be the last day for the 2009 racing season at Eureka Downs but may just very well be the biggest day yet. As families gather to celebrate our Nations Independence they also gather to celebrate the rich tradition of horse racing on Independence Day. The City of Eureka will be alive with numerous things to do and watch. In the afternoon stop by Eureka Downs and then stay for the fireworks display in evening at the City Park. If you have been missing down-home family fun on the 4th of July because the big city can't offer it, come to Eureka where family fun is a high priority. For more information on Eureka's "Party in the Park" check out www.eurekakansas.com and as always for more information on Eureka downs visit www.eurekadowns.com.
See you at the Track!
